PNCT is committed to electronic communications for trade, in the forms of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) relationships with external trading partners and the extension of web-enabled information services to customers and other users
Our current capabilities are provided by the Navis Express system, as well as a number of in-house developments. Our EDI translators support all ANSI and EDIFACT documents in common use in the industry, and our internally developed EDI Gateway handles specific client exceptions and mapping, as well as providing a secure and reliable method of data transfer.
PNCT uses a variety of communications/transmission including FTP, and secure FTP, as well as secure VPN for transacting business-to-business eCommerce and meeting the stringent requirements of the Department of Homeland Security and their AMS guidelines. PNCT is also able to support other required communications networks and we advocate direct connection between trading partners and ourselves using the internet or other economicly efficient communications.
PNCT has initiated projects to support electronic invoicing and payments, and we welcome approaches by clients to further develop these services.
All questions relating to EDI or E-commerce services should be directed to: Patti Pang Phone: (973) 522-2200 ext. 2256.
